Role Summary :

As a Field Service Engineer, you are responsible for coordinating with customers in field issues, warranty complaints and resolutions. You will carry out and support site commissioning, service and repair jobs at customer sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Order processing and acceptance
  • Prepare cost estimates minus discounts according to specifications
  • Schedule orders
  • Prepare quotations for standard products according to predefined lists
  • Read and evaluate customer specifications and customer requirement documents
  • Compile technical and commercial offer documents
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Support customers during site visits
  • Process customer complaints
  • Find, develop and implement technical solutions for special problems
  • Coordinate with internal and external customers effectively
  • Establish safe and proper work area and follow all safety requirements
  • Perform in-house and on-site repairs and service activities
  • Provide technical support and training as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or degree in relevant field and 5 to 7 years relevant experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and efficient
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word
  • SAP knowledge in SD;MM;PP
  • Able to work well with a team
  • Experience serving customers in oil & gas, power, chemical, water and other general industries
  • Ability to reprioritize daily while still producing deliverables
  • Willingness to travel as needed to customer sites

Preferred Experience / Skills:

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Solid Works or any technical drawing tools are a plus
  • Experience as a project manager or planner
  • Advanced English
